What is it like for the counsellor to hear my story?
Thea is passionate about supporting people to bring about change and meet their desired goals through counselling. She has experience in helping those with anxiety, depression, adjusting family dynamics, stress related to pregnancy, post-natal depression and parenting. She originally has a degree in Biomedical Sciences from Kings College, London and has since worked as part of a pastoral care team for a church in the City of London and taken time out of work to help to raise her children.
Born in Jordan to American and British parents, Thea currently lives in east London with her husband and two children. She and her family are active in their local church and community. In her spare time, Thea is part of a cookbook club, invests time in the community garden, and loves walks and talks in the park. She is a beginner at learning Mandarin and loves to go wild swimming in ponds, lakes and rivers when she can.
Thea completed her training in a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at Redbridge Institute.
